		We invite you to be part of the revolution to change the world by making a difference. A fundraising event for LemonAid Fund will not only raise money for a good cause, but will raise awareness of the important issues LemonAid Fund addresses. It can also be great fun, and will give you a good sense of your own abundance as you make a difference in the world.

	Why host a dinner (or a breakfast or a lunch) to make a difference in support of LemonAid Fund's work in Sierra Leone? Cynthia McFadden who visited Sierra Leone with Salma Hayek in 2009, wrote the following in her article "The Worst Place on Earth": – “I have been to a lot of troubled places, but none compares to Sierra Leone. I have told friends — and it is literally true — Rwanda seems like heaven compared to Sierra Leone. In the rural areas, there is one doctor for every 200,000 people. Only a third of those in rural areas has access to clean water. Malnutrition runs rampant. The grinding poverty is inescapable. Hope is hard to nourish.” —Cynthia McFadden So now that you are thinking about how to start making a difference by hosting your own dinner, here is a story to give you extra motivation -- One group's November 2004 commitment to host monthly dinners has raised more than $80,000 in cash and in-kind donations for several Long Beach non-profit charities that benefit children and families. They have paved the path so you don't have to recreate the wheel.
