Easy Ways to Support LemonAid Fund

Raise Money for LemonAid Fund by Searching with GoodSearch

GoodSearch cause banner

We all use search engines to surf the Internet. The companies who own and operate earn money through ad revenue. GoodSearch is the search engine which donates 50% of its revenues to charities; what's more charities that the users designates! You can help raise needed funds to sustain LemonAid Fund programs by using GoodSearch for Internet searches.

It all adds up. One hundred supporters of the LemonAid Fund doing an average of two searches a day would raise about $700 for the LemonAid Fund in a year!

The founders of GoodSearch Ken and JJ Ramberg wanted to create a means to support charities so that people would say, "Why wouldn't you do it?"

I do perhaps a dozen searches a day; so I wondered why I haven't been using GoodSearch? The short answer is that I hate having to learn to do new stuff on the computer. Maybe there are some others of you like me.

The good news is that it's not hard to learn to use GoodSearch and here are some suggestions to get started.

Take a moment to open GoodSearch Web page. There you'll see a box to put your search query. Right under that box is a box to put in your charity. Type in LemonAid Fund and then click the button beside the box marked verify. LemonAid Fund is registered and you'll see LemonAid Fund (Highland Park, IL) in the box. Go ahead and search for something. If you have cookies allowed GoodSearch will remember which charity you used for the next search.

At the bottom of the GoodSearch page are a list of handy links. If you have children using the computer you may want to click on Options to determine that the GoodSearch search engine is set to filter for adult content. The default option is to filter, but it's nice to be confident about using the search engine safely.

The FAQ is also useful to answer particular questions. You could bookmark the GoodSearch Web page and do your searches from there, but most people would like to search directly from their browser. Right now Goodsearch supports searching from the browser only in Internet Explorer and Firefox. How to add GoodSearch is described on this page. I use Firefox and had to go to this page to find the button to add it. It's very simple simply click on the add on and you're ready to do all your searches using GoodSearch.
